2025 Outdoor Track & Field (Sophomore): Earned All-Conference Third Team honors at SLC Outdoor Championships, finishing third in the 800-meter run in 2:11.41… Won the 800 in 2:09.91 at the Texas A&M Alumni Muster… Was seventh in the 800 at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight… Finished fifth in the 400-meter dash with a PR time of 57.95 and with the 4x400-meter relay at the Cactus Cup… Took third in the 800 and 10^th in the 1,500-meter run in a PR time of 4:38.13 at the Bobcat Invitational… Was second in the 800 in a personal and program record time of 2:09.41 at the Charles Austin Classic… 

2025 Indoor Track & Field (Sophomore): Won the Southland Conference 800-meter run title in 2:10.47, earning All-Conference First Team honors… Was seventh in the 600-yard dash and ninth in the 800 a the Jarvis Scott Invite… Finished fifth with the distance medley relay and ninth in the 800 at the Stan Scott Invite… Finished third in the 800 and sixth with the 4x400-meter relay at the LSU Purple Tiger… 

2024 Cross Country (Sophomore): Earned personal best finish at the NCAA Div. I South Central Regional (141^st)… Was 41^st at the SLC Championships… Ran 6K personal best time of 21:56.3 to finish seventh at the West Side Classic, helping the team to its first meet win in at least 20 years… Ran 5K personal best time of 18:36.0 to finish eighth at the UIW Invitational… Was 17^th at the Opener at the Seashore in 4K personal best time of 15:58.2. 

2024 Outdoor Track & Field (Freshman): Was third in the 800-meter run at the J. Fred Ducket Twilight, running a personal best 2:10.81… Took fifth in the 400-meter dash at the Cactus Cup, running a PB time of 58.98… Finished fifth in the 800 at the 44 Farms Team Invitational… Was seventh in the 800 at the Texas A&M Invite… Made outdoor collegiate debut at the Kirk Baptiste Spring Break Invitational, taking second in the 800 and fourth with the 4x400-meter relay. 

2024 Indoor Track & Field (Freshman): Ran a personal best 2:18.10 to finish ninth in the 800-meter run at WAC Indoor Championships; was sixth with the 4x400-meter relay, running a program record 3:49.24; finished eighth with the distance medley relay … Ran a personal best 1:29.99 to finish 10^th in the 600-yard run and was 20^th in the 800-meter run at the Jarvis Scott Open … Finished 12^th in the 800-meter run and clocked a personal best 1:00.17 in the 400-meter run at the Robert Platt Invitational … Was 18^th in the 800-meter run at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational … Opened the season taking 21^st in the 800-meter run at the Arkansas Invitational. 

2023 Cross Country (Freshman): Finished 145^th at the NCAA South Central Regional… Took 75^th at WAC Championships… Ran 6K personal-best 23:39.0 at the Arturo Barrios Invitational… Made collegiate debut at UIW Invitational, placing 51^st. 

Prior to UTRGV (United South High School): Salazar comes to the Valley with a cross country (5,000-meter) PR of 18:36.4 -- Laredo's 5K record for high school girls. She finished third at the District 30-6A cross country meet in 2022 and was 17^th at the Region IV-6A meet. She claimed three top-two finishes in her final high school cross country season, including two gold medals. Salazar also had a full program in track & field, recording personal bests of 58.90 in the 400-meter dash, 2:20.03 in the 800-meter run and 29’ 10” in the triple jump, while also competing on relays. She qualified for the Region IV-6A track & field meet in the 800 as a senior, finishing sixth after taking silver in the event at the District 30-6A meet and bronze at the area meet. She won the district title in the 400 dash and was fifth at area.
