2025 Outdoor Track & Field (Freshman): Finished 16^th in the 800-meter run at SLC Outdoor Championships… Took 17^th in the 800 at the Texas A&M Alumni Muster… Was 13^th in the 800 at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight in a PR time of 1:54.27… Took second in the 800 at the Cactus Cup and the Charles Austin Classic… 

2025 Indoor Track & Field (Freshman): Finished sixth with the distance medley relay in 10:15.20 and was 13^th in the 800-meter run with a PR time of 1:53.82 at the SLC Indoor Championships… Ran a PR 1:14.21 in the 600-yard dash at the Jarvis Scott Invite… Made collegiate track debut at the LSU Purple Tiger and was 11^th in the 600… 

2024 Cross Country (Freshman): Did not compete in any meets. 

Prior to UTRGV (PSJA Memorial): Piña is a mid-distance runner bringing a personal best of 1:54.58 in the 800-meter run to UTRGV. He qualified for the 2024 UIL Class 5A State Track & Field Championship in the 800, finishing seventh to cap a senior season that saw him win both the District 31-5A and Area 31/32 titles in the event along with a silver medal at the Region IV-5A meet. He was second in the 800 at the 2024 RGVCA Meet of Champions. In cross country, Piña advanced to the Region IV-5A meet in the 2023 season after placing 20^th at the district meet. He finished 68^th in the RGVCCCA Meet of Champions Elite race.
