2025 Outdoor Track & Field (Junior): Earned All-Conference Third Team honors with the 4x400-meter relay (3:42.74) at SLC Outdoor Championships and ran a PR 56.90 in the 400-meter dash to finish 17^th… Was 18^th in the 400 at the Texas A&M Alumni Muster… Won the 4x100-meter relay (44.83) at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight and was seventh in the 400… Took second with the 4x400 at the Cactus Cup and ran a 100-meter dash PR of 12.35 in eighth-place finish… Competed in the 200-meter dash and 400 at the Bobcat Invitational… Ran a 200 PR of 25.00 to take sixth at the season-opening Charles Austin Classic and was third in the 400… 

2025 Indoor Track & Field (Junior): Earned All-Conference Third Team honors with the 4x400-meter relay (3:44.86) at SLC Indoor Championships and was fourth with the distance medley relay and 21^st in the 400-meter dash… Ran a season-best 57.31 in the 400 and was 16^th with the 4x400 at the Jarvis Scott Invite… Ran the 200 at the Stan Scott Invite… Took third with the 4x400 and fifth in the 400 at the season-opening LSU Purple Tiger… 

2024 Outdoor Track & Field (Sophomore): Was sixth with the 4x400-meter relay at the WAC Outdoor Championships in a program record time of 3:42.80 and was 20^th in the 400-meter dash and 31^st in the 200-meter dash… Took third in the 400 at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight… Was first with the 4x100-meter relay and third in the 400 at the Cactus Cup… Finished second with the 4x100 at the 44 Farms Team Invitational… Was third with the 4x100 at the Texas A&M Invite and ran personal bests in the 200 (25.35) and the 400 (57.12)… Opened the season at the Kirk Baptiste Spring Break Invitational, taking second with the 4x400. 

2024 Indoor Track & Field (Sophomore): Was sixth with the 4x400-meter relay at WAC Indoor Championships, running a program record 3:49.24; ran a personal best 57.82 to finish 15^th in prelims of the 400-meter dash … Ran a personal best 7.96 to finish 66^th in prelims of the 60-meter dash and was 14^th with the 4x400-meter relay at the Jarvis Scott Open … Was 25^th in the 400-meter dash at the Robert Platt Invitational … Finished 12^th with the 4x400-meter relay and was 14^th in the 400-meter dash at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational … Was 12^th with the 4x400-meter relay and 16^th in the 400-meter dash at the Arkansas Invitational to open the season. 

2023 Outdoor Track & Field (Freshman): Was 9th with the 4x400-meter relay at WAC Outdoor Championships, also ran a PR 58.04 in the 400-meter dash to finish 21st and competed in the 200-meter dash ... Won the 4x400 at the Texas Invitational and ran a PR 25.47 in the 200 ... Was 4th with the 4x400 at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight ... Took 2nd in the 4x400 and was 11th in the 400 at the Cactus Cup ... Was 5th with the 4x400 at the Bobcat Invitational ... Finished 4th in the 400 at the Charles Austin Classic ... Was 10th in the 400 at the UTSA Invitational. 

2023 Indoor Track & Field (Freshman): Was 9th with the 4x400-meter relay and ran a season-best in the 400-meter dash at WAC Indoor Championships ... Was 8th with the 4x400 and 23rd in the 400 at the Robert Platt Invitational. 

2018-2022 (Brownsville Hanna High School): Castillo was a two-time regional qualifier in the 400-meter dash. She was the district champion in 2022 and runner-up in 2021 in the event, while also taking silver in the 200-meter dash in back-to-back years. Castillo won gold in the 400 at the Rio Grande Valley Meet of Champions. She comes to UTRGV with PRs of 25.95 in the 200 and 58.14 in the 400. Castillo also competed in varsity volleyball, soccer and powerlifting. 

Personal: Daugher of Christina and Jesse... Has two sisters, Angelina and Emily... Studying civil engineering.
