2025 Outdoor (Freshman): Finished ninth in the 800-meter run in a PR time of 2:14.79 at the SLC Outdoor Championships… Was 15th in the 800 at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight… Ran a 400-meter dash PR of 1:01.77 to finish 13th at the Cactus Cup… Ran a 1,500-meter run PR of 4:48.49 at the Bobcat Invitational and was 21st in the 800… Took sixth in the 800 at the Charles Austin Classic… 

2025 Indoor (Freshman): Took fourth with the distance medley relay in 12:01.39 at SLC Indoor Championships… Took sixth in the 1,000-meter run at the Jarvis Scott Invite… Was sixth with the 4x400-meter relay and seventh in the 800-meter run at the LSU Purple Tiger… 

2024 Cross Country (Freshman): Competed at the NCAA Div. I South Central Regional… Took 58th at the SLC Championships… Ran a 6K personal best time of 22:43.0 at the West Side Classic, taking 16th… Made collegiate debut at the UIW Invitational and finished 48th

Prior to UTRGV (Santa Maria HS): Picazo was a three-time qualifier to the UIL Class 2A State Cross Country Championship and was one of the top distance runners in the region. She was the District 32-2A runner-up as a freshman, sophomore and junior, then broke through to win the district title in 2023. She tabbed three top-15 finishes in four trips to the Region IV-2A meet, including a career-best second-place finish at regionals in 2022. Picazo was 10th at the state meet in 2022, 25th in 2023 and 37thin 2021. Running a two-mile cross country race, she recorded a personal best of 11:49.3. On the track, Picazo solidified herself as one of the top mid-distance runners in the state, particularly shining in the 800-meter run. The five-time District 32-2A individual champion won three consecutive district titles in the 800 from 2022-24 and was a four-time Region IV-2A qualifier in the event. Picazo qualified for the UIL Class 2A State Track & Field meet in 2023 and finished fourth in the 800, then returned to the big show as a senior and finished fourth in both the 800 and 1,600-meter run. She claimed back-to-back district titles in the 400-meter dash. Picazo racked up top-three finishes at the area and regional levels and stood out at the RGVCA Meet of Champions, taking second among all classifications in the 800 as a senior to improve on a fourth-place finish in 2023. She earned seven event wins as a senior and lowered her personal bests to 1:00.51 in the 400 and 2:19.24 in the 800.
