Prior to UTRGV: Maguire comes to UTRGV after playing two seasons with Southland Conference opponent Houston Christian. Maguire redshirted her true freshman season in 2022-23, then averaged 5.1 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.26 assists per game as a redshirt freshman in 2023-24. Last season, she made 25 starts and was the team’s leading scorer with 9.4 points per game. She also led the team with 2.4 assists per game and tabbed 2.5 rebounds per game. Maguire was named to the SLC All-Academic Second Team. Prior to HCU, Maguire played for The Hun School in New Jersey and internationally with various Northern Ireland National Teams. At The Hun School, she was the Student-Athlete of the Year and Trentonian Co-Prep Player of the Year in 2022 while earning 1^st Team All-Area honors. She averaged 20 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.6 steals and 3.8 assists per game. In Northern Ireland, Maguire played club basketball with Ulster University and averaged 24 points, eight rebounds, three assists and four steals per game. She won seven Northern Ireland Club Championships from 2013-19, helped her team to the Senior Women’s National Cup semifinals in 2020 and 2019 and to the 2020 U20 Women’s National Cup finals, and won the senior Women’s Northern Conference Championship in 2019.
