Prior to UTRGV: Dettor was a “foundational figure” for a brand-new girl’s basketball program in the Chaparral Lady Bobcats. She led the squad to back-to-back district, bi-district and area championships in the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons, which were only the second and third seasons in school history. As a senior, Dettor averaged 22 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks per game. She was named the District 16-5A Offensive Player of the Year and made the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches 2-5A All-Region Team. Dettor was also an All-District First Team selection in 2023-24 and earned All-Academic nods, too. She set single-game program records of 37 points and 18 rebounds during her senior season.
