Summary

Biography

Horne had a dominant high school career at Dr. Phillips, winning three 7A state championships while amassing a 103-22 (.824) record. As a senior, Horne scored 5.4 points per game while hauling in 9.4 rebounds per game and recorded three double-doubles as she ranked in the top five in 7A for rebounding. She was the team captain and the senior class president in 2024-25. In her junior season, Horne averaged 8.1 rebounds and 4.3 points per game as she was named a 2024 junior standout. Horne’s sophomore season saw the squad go 30-2 en route to the state title and she contributed 3.9 points, 5.9 rebounds and 0.6 steals per game. 
 
Horne was also a standout shot putter. She won the Junior Olympic Shot Put National Championship in 2016 and was the 2019 Orange County Middle School Shot Put Champion. She comes from an athletic family – Horne’s father, Dwayne, played football at Florida A&M and she has two brothers, Donovan and Dylan, who are track & field student-athletes at Alabama A&M and Tusculum, respectively. Dylan also plays football at Tusculum.
