2013 Season • Senior
Indoor – Did not compete in any meets.

Outdoor – Placed ninth in the shot put (9.94 meters) and in the hammer throw (38.86 meters) at the Great West Conference Championships (5/3-4) … Finished fifth in the hammer throw (40.05 meters) and sixth in the shot (9.78 meters) at the Javelina Twilight Invitational (4/13) … Finished seventh in the hammer throw (39.40 meters) and 10^th in the shot put (8.89 meters) at the Cactus Cup (3/16).

2012 Season • Junior
Indoor – Competed in three meets … Placed sixth in weight throw (career-best 14.30) and 10^th in shot put (11.05) at Great West Conference Championships … Came in fifth in weight throw (12.97) and ninth in shot put (11.14) at Texas Tech Indoor Open #2.
 
Outdoor – Competed in eight meets … Finished sixth in hammer throw (45.89) and ninth in shot put (11.41) at Great West Conference Championships … Made career-high toss in shot put at Texas State Bobcat Classic with distance of 11.87 meters to finish 14^th … Made career-best hammer throw at Trinity Alumni Classic with a distance of 47.51 meters to finish second while also placing third in the shot put with a toss of 11.12 meters … Won hammer throw in season opener at Cactus Cup with throw of 45.90 meters.
           
2011 Season • Sophomore
Indoor – competed in three meets … finished eighth in the weight throw with a personal best of 13.51 meters and 12th in the shot put with a toss of 10.66 meters at the Great West Conference Indoor Championships.
 
Outdoor – competed in five meets ... recorded a second place finish in the hammer throw with a throw of 42.50 meters at the Cactus Cup while also finishing fourth in the shot put with a throw of 11.57 meters and 11th in the discus throw with 29.68 meters …  finished 16th in the hammer with a throw of 44.89 meters and 43rd in the shot put with a toss of 10.89 meters at the Beach Invitational … finished in seventh and ninth place at the Bobcat Invitational in the hammer (39.72 meters) and the shot put (11 meters), respectively … finished with a fifth-place finish in the hammer recording a personal best of 45.60 meters, also finished 11th in the shot put with a mark of 11.11 meters at the Great West Conference Outdoor Championships.
 
2010 Season • Freshman
Indoor – competed in three meets … finished 32nd in the weight throw at the Houston Invitational with a throw of 11.57 meters ... finished 12th in the weight throw at the UH All-Comers Meet with a throw of 12.18 meters ... recorded two top 10 finishes, both at the Great West Conference Indoor Championships where she finished eighth in the shot put with a distance of 11.93 meters and seventh in the weight throw with a distance of 13.01 meters.
 
Outdoor – competed in five events … compiled seven top 10 finishes … started the season with a second place finish in the shot put, third place in discus and first place in the hammer throw, all at the Cactus Cup … recorded her best throw in the hammer throw at the Texas Invite where she threw a distance of 44.45 meters … finished eighth in the shot put and fourth in the hammer throw at the Great West Conference Outdoor Championships.
 
Laredo United High School
Earned letters in track and field, basketball, and power lifting … captured two district championship titles in the shot put … took home the bronze at district in the discus and earned a berth to regionals … was a class officer during her senior year.

Daughter of Rick and Debbie Talamantez … born April 15, 1991 … has one brother, Mike … majoring in kinesiology.
