2016 (Junior): Indoor – Competed in five meets … placed eighth in the weight throw at the Western Athletic Conference Indoor Championships after a throw of 15.75 meters … finished in eighth place in the weight throw at the Howie Ryan Invitational after a throw of 15.66 meters … posted a ninth place finish in the weight throw at the Houston Invitational after a throw of 15.64 meters … won the weight throw at the Battle of the Palms after a throw of 15.26 meters … posted a third place finish in the weight throw at the Texas A&M 13 Team Invitational after a career-best throw of 15.76 meters.
 
Outdoor – Competed in six meets … posted a fourth place in the hammer throw at the Western Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships after a career-best throw of 51.72 meters while also posting a 11^th place finish in the javelin throw with a mark of 33.34 meters … finished in seventh place in the hammer throw at the Bobcat Classic after a throw of 48.44 meters … finished in third place in the hammer throw at the UTSA Invitational after a throw of 47.66 meters while also adding a second place finish in the javelin throw with a mark of 30.77 meters … posted a ninth place finish in the javelin throw at the Bobcat Invitational after a career-best mark of 34.67 meters … finished in sixth place in the hammer throw at the Victor Lopez Classic after a throw of 50.72 meters … opened the outdoor season with a second place finish in the hammer throw at the Islanders Open after a throw of 47.91 meters.

Outdoor – Competed in seven meets … posted a ninth place finish in the hammer throw at the Western Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships with a throw of 45.32 meters while also finishing in 15^th in the javelin with a throw of 29.12 meters … posted a fifth place finish in the hammer throw at the Islander Dash with a throw of 42.82 meters while adding a third place finish in the javelin with a throw of 29.38 meters … finished in eighth place in the hammer throw at the Victor Lopez Classic with a throw of 44.16 meters while also adding an 11^th place finish in the javelin with a throw of 27.68 meters … posted a fourth place finish in the javelin at the Cactus Cup with a throw of 29.06 meters and also finished in fifth place in the hammer throw with a mark of 41.72 meters … finished in fifth place in the hammer throw at the Islander Open with a throw of 41.28 meters while also finishing in second in the javelin with a throw of 32.05 meters.

Fred Duckett Twilight with a throw of 24.52 meters … posted an 11^th place finish in the javelin throw at the UIW Cardinal Invite with a throw of 21.60 meters … finished in fifth place in the javelin throw with a throw of 26.53 meters and also finished in 10^th place in the hammer throw at the Islanders Dash with a throw of 38.08 meters … posted a 17^th place finish in the javelin at the Bobcat Invitational with a throw of 28.13 meters … finished in fifth place in the javelin at the Cactus Cup with a throw of 27.85 meters and also finished in 14^th place in the hammer throw with a throw of 38.05 meters … posted a fifth place finish in the javelin with a throw of 29.90 meters at the Islanders Open while also posting an eighth place finish in the hammer throw with a throw of 37.01 meters.

Off the Track: Daughter of Thomas Rene Canul and Maria Elena Sustaita … Has four brothers, Aaron, Alex, Robert and Danny … Both Grandpas played baseball at Pan American, including Lupe Canul, who was the team MVP in 1963, and Francisco Estevis, who helped the Broncs to the 1957 Big State Conference Champonship.
