Garcia earned four letters in volleyball and two in softball for the Warriors...graduated Top-10 percent of her class...member of the National Honor Society...captain of her volleyball squad for two years...helped lead her squad to playoffs in 2006, 2007 and 2008...member of a team that earned Bi-District and Area Champs...concluded her senior campaign with 245 kills and 583 digs...named All-Valley First Team as an outside hitter...cited as a First Team All-District 30-5A...in her final season as a Lady Warrior, earned Corpus Christi Spikefest Tournament MVP and Mission ISD Volleyball Tournament MVP...made the PSJA Volleyball All-Tournament team...participated in several volleyball clubs (RGV, Valley Elite, Valley Heat, MVP and STJ)...named MVP, First Team All-District, First Team All-Valley in her final season at Nikki Rowe High School...was the Most Outstanding Player on her squad in 2006 and 2007...earned Second Team All-District her junior year...as a sophomore, earned honorable mention.

Garcia is the daughter of Ruben and Patricia Garcia...born on Oct. 6, 1990...has three brothers - Ruben, Oscar and Isaiah...one sister - Serika...sister - Serika - played collegiate volleyball for a one season at UTPA as a setter...majoring in physical therapy.
