1993-94 (Santa Monica Junior College): Two-year starter and letterman for former Bronc Kevin Brockway... Played outfield as a freshman before moving to the infield as a sophomore... Hit .296 as a sophomore and earned team Most Valuable Player honors... Also led the team in doubles, triples, and stolen bases during sophomore season... Named team Most Valuable Player in Junior College World Series played in Columbus, Ohio in the summer 1993.

Culver City High School: Three-year letterman and two-year starter for coach Jerry Chabola... Earned second-team All-Ocean League honors as a junior after leading team to league title... Also lettered twice in football as wide as wide receiver and defensive back and twice in soccer as halfback.
