Pharr Natatorium

On Jan. 29, 2022, UTRGV Athletics helped unveil the state-of-the-art City of Pharr-PSJA Natatorium which was created through a partnership with the City of Pharr and the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District.

The state-of-the-art City of Pharr-PSJA Natatorium serves as the home of the UTRGV women’s swimming & diving team, which began NCAA Division I competition in the fall of 2024. UTRGV co-hosted two conference championships with the City of Pharr before launching its program, doing so in 2023 and 2024. UTRGV is set to host the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships in February 2026.

The City of Pharr-PSJA Natatorium, which opened in 2022, boasts a 50-meter competition pool, which can be split into two 25-meter pools, and can seat 1,200 spectators. The facility is also home to a diving pool which features two 1-meter and 3-meter springboards and the only indoor diving tower south of Austin. UTRGV also has its own team room and office space inside the natatorium.
