Welcome to the official UTRGV Women's Soccer Camps website. At UTRGV, we are committed to serving the entire Rio Grande Valley by hosting camps and clinics across the Valley. We offer a variety of camps for players of all ages and ability level. Campers will be able to develop their technical and tactical skills, receive high level coaching, and learn how to train at the Division I level.

Camps and Clinics Information

June 8 and 10: Mini Vaqueros Camp

This two day camp is designed for participants, ages 5-11, to learn the fundamentals and skills of soccer with the UTRGV Women's Soccer coaching staff in this two day camp. The camp will run from 8-11 a.m. on both days. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) must be present for the entirety of the event.

June 13: ID Clinic

The ID camp is designed for participants, grades 9-12, JUCO, and student-athletes currently in the transfer portal, that are interested in competing at the collegiate level. The UTRGV Women's Soccer coaching staff will conduct sessions similar to those that are designed for the UTRGV Women's Soccer team. The camp will run from 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

August 1-2: ID Clinic

This two-day ID camp is designed for participants, grades 9-12, JUCO, and student-athletes currently in the transfer portal, that are interested in competing at the collegiate level. The UTRGV Women's Soccer coaching staff will conduct sessions similar to those that are designed for the UTRGV Women's Soccer team. The camp will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on August 1 and 8:30-10 a.m. on August 2.

Built in 2014, the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex is located on the west end of campus. The complex currently has a seating capacity of 1,250 to meet ticket demands after originally opening with a seating capacity of 555 in 2014. Additionally, UTRGV Athletics installed lights to allow for night matches in 2015.
 
In 2022, UTRGV announced a series of upgrades coming to the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex including, new buildings for men's and women's soccer and for the men's and women's track & field/cross country programs, a goalkeeper training area, a press box, and an upgraded sound system.

By the end of 2022, the Hinojosa Family Press Box and upgraded sound system were completed.
 
On Jan. 17, 2024, UTRGV unveiled the new buildings which include more than 13,500 square feet of space for locker rooms for the men’s and women’s soccer and track & field programs, athletic training rooms, meeting rooms, and coaches’ offices.
 
The soccer field is of exceptional quality. As such, care is being taken to protect the high quality of the playing surface from adverse effects of extreme weather and wear-and-tear.
