You will be assigned a date and time in the spring of 2025 to make your seat selection based on your Vaqueros Loyalty Points rank. You will have the opportunity to select seats and purchase season tickets up to the number of deposits placed (i.e.: four deposits = up to four seats). Only points accumulated through January 15, 2025, will be considered for your rank and the inaugural football select-a-seat process.

Fans interested in a suite will have until November 2024 to improve their Vaqueros Loyalty Points total and rank for the select-a-suite process. The select-a-suite process will take place in December 2024. Fans interested in purchasing a suite and being included in the select-a-suite process need to be on the suite waitlist. Suites will require a 4-year commitment. To get on the suite waitlist, send an email to vaf@utrgv.edu.

Yes, you will be able to renew or upgrade your tickets every season. Upgrade priority will be determined using the Vaqueros Loyalty Points rank. It is important to renew your season tickets before the renewal deadline if you wish to keep your same seats. After the renewal deadline, seats may be released.

UTRGV Athletics will host one home football game every year at Sams Stadium in Brownsville. Tickets to the game in Brownsville will not be included in your season ticket package. However, season ticket holders will have the option to purchase tickets for the Brownsville game during the select-a-seat process.

There will be two levels of parking passes at Robert & Janet Vackar Stadium, VAF Stadium Parking and VIP Parking. Season parking passes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis based on Vaqueros Loyalty Points ranking. For more information click here.

Fans will be able to purchase tailgating spots in both the tailgate lot, located on the lawns on the west side of the stadium parking lot, and the tailgate zone, located on the east side of the stadium. For more information click here.

Fans interested in additional season tickets can sign up for the wait list at GoUTRGV.com/FootballWaitList. Should additional season tickets become available following the select-a-seat process, UTRGV Athletics will contact fans on the wait list based on Vaqueros Loyalty Points ranking. Keep in mind that you will not be guaranteed seats together as these potential additional seats will be available after the select-a-seat process is complete.

You will not be allowed to hold seats for people with lower point totals or rankings. If you are part of a group wanting to select seats together, you can delay your seat selection date and time to select seats with the account with the lowest point total/ranking. Those with a lower point total/ranking can also earn points to move up in the rankings.

UTRGV football season ticket deposits are non-refundable. We will, however, credit your payment for the additional deposits to your season ticket purchase. For example, if you placed four deposits for $100 but only need 2 season tickets, the full $100 will be credited to your season ticket purchase.

Anyone making donations to UTRGV Athletics and purchasing season ticket will earn Vaqueros Loyalty Points. Your point total will determine your rank for the select-a-seat process. Please refer to the HOW VAQUEROS LOYALTY POINTS WORK section above for a breakdown of specific point values for each giving category.

Vaqueros Loyalty Points totals and rankings will be published on a quarterly basis. Point totals and rankings will also be provided upon request by contacting a member of the UTRGV Athletics ticketing staff at (956) 665-4069 or by sending an email to vaf@utrgv.edu.

To ensure fairness, transparency, and equitable treatment of all UTRGV Athletics supporters, Vaqueros Loyalty Points may not be sold or transferred. Please reference our policy page for information on marriage, divorce, lineal transfers, and combining accounts.

Your Vaqueros Loyalty Points will not reset. You keep these points and can earn more every year. Your loyalty points will determine priority when it comes to allocating seat relocation requests, new or additional season ticket requests, premium seating requests, parking, tailgating, neutral site and postseason ticket requests, and other V Club benefits.

Those start dates provide the most accurate data to ensure the calculation of points is as fair and equitable as possible.

Most NCAA Division I programs do not assign loyalty points for sponsorship spend. However, we want to recognize and reward our corporate partners who have played an integral role in the growth and success of UTRGV Athletics. Corporate partners will receive 3 one-time points for every $1,000 spent dating back to 2017-18.

Yes, former student-athletes who graduate from UTRGV will receive 20 one-time points. Those that are Lifetime Varsity Club members will receive an additional 10 points.

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley is grateful for your generosity! However, only gifts made to UTRGV Athletics lead to Vaqueros Loyalty Points, with the exception of Silver Buckle Society members.

Donations to UTRGV Athletics support every aspect of the student-athlete experience from the moment student-athletes are recruited through the day our student-athletes walk across the stage to graduate.

Gifts made to UTRGV Athletics are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. You will receive a gift receipt from UTRGV for tax purposes. Please consult with your tax advisor for tax benefits relating to athletics gifts.
