2012-15 (Veterans Memorial High School): Hit .451/.550/.679 in four years on the varsity team … Hit .391/.492/.554 in 36 games as a senior, going 36-for-119 with 11 doubles, two triples, 36 RBI and 24 runs scored … Hit .588/.644/.962 in 29 games as a junior, going 47-for-104 with 11 doubles, five triples, three home runs, 53 RBI and 31 runs scored … Hit .512/.596/.802 in 32 games as a sophomore, going 44-for-114 with nine doubles, five triples, two home runs, 55 RBI and 45 runs scored … Also saw time on the mound, going 27-10 with three saves and a 2.43 ERA in four years … As a senior, went 6-3 with a 1.93 ERA in 10 games (nine starts), including five complete games (one shutout). In 54.1 innings, struck out 55 while walking 13 and allowing 52 hits … Recorded 242 strikeouts compared to 72 walks in 213-career innings.
