2020 (Redshirt Junior): Recorded a career-high nine strikeouts in five innings of one-run ball to beat NJIT (3/8) … Made first start, striking out five while allowing just one earned run in 4.1 innings at Baylor (2/26) … Pitched four innings of scoreless relief, allowing just a single with one out in the ninth to complete a one-hitter, while striking out five vs. Kansas State (2/14).

2018 (Sophomore, Texas Tech): Made 11 appearances on the mound for the Red Raiders…Pitched a total of 16.3 innings throughout the entirety of the season…Recorded a 6.23 ERA …recorded a career-high 6 strikeouts against Kansas State on Apr. 14… Combined on a two-hitter against NMSU Feb. 21... Longest stint was 2.1 innings against Kansas State on Apr. 13...Fielding percentage of 1.000

2017 (Freshman, Texas Tech): Made 13 appearances on the mound, starting nine games, during his first season as a Red Raider … put together a 6.52 ERA after tossing 38.2 innings for a 2-3 record … struck out 28, while giving up 28 earned runs … had four or more strikeouts in four outings … put up a season-high five strikeouts against New Mexico State on Feb. 21 … posted two shutout performances against New Mexico State on April 18 in Midland and Oklahoma State on April 21 … gave up two or fewer hits on seven different occasions, including his first four appearances … issued 33 walks and allowed 44 hits … had a 5.62 ERA in conference over three appearances and two starts for an 0-1 record … had three strikeouts and eight walks … gave up five earned runs on 10 hits over 8.0 innings of work … pitched in 10 non-conference games, starting seven … posted a 2-2 record and a 6.75 ERA after throwing 30.2 innings … struck out 25 and walked 25 … gave up 23 earned runs on 34 hits … put together a 2-0 record and a 3.33 ERA over seven appearances and six starts … tossed 27.0 frames, ringing up 20, while issuing 18 walks … allowed 10 earned runs on 25 hits, as opponents hit just .245 against him … made one appearance in Oklahoma City, throwing 1.0 inning and struck out two … had three outings against ranked foes … pitched 9.2 frames, striking out six … allowed five earned runs on 10 hits … right-handed batters hit .221 against him.

2012-16 (Edinburg High School) Played for coach Robert Valdez at Edinburg High School … tossed a 9-1 overall record as a junior with an impressive 0.11 ERA … also tallied 110 strikeouts over 63 innings pitched in 2015 … earned the Rio Grande Valley Sports All-Valley Pitcher of the Year award in 2015 … member of the Houston Banditos summer team, along with fellow teammate Michael Berglund … participated in the 2015 Texas Scouts Association Game … 2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game All-American Honorable Mention … also earned 2014 & 2015 Underclass High Honorable Mention honors from PG … ranked in the top 25 by Perfect Game among pitchers in the state of Texas … also rated as the 69^th overall player in the state.
