2015-16 Season (Freshman): Fall Season – Competed in all five fall tournaments … finished the fall season tied for 23^rd at the Pacific Invitational after shooting a three-round score of 221 (76, 70, 75) … posted a three-round score of 222 (73, 75, 74) at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate to finish tied for 29^th … finished tied for 23^rd at the Badger Invitational after shooting a three-round score of 225 (76, 73, 76) … tied the program record for the lowest single round score after posting a second round 65 at the HBU Husky Intercollegiate en route to a fourth place finish with a three-round score of 214 (74, 65, 75) … finished tied for fourth place at the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate after posting a three-round score of 218 (72, 70, 76).

Spring Season – Competed in four tournaments … posted a three-round score of 233 (76, 80, 77) to finish tied for 76^th at the Airstream Adventures Northwest Classic … finished tied for 40^th at the Bob Sitton Invitational after posting a three-round score of 227 (75, 74, 78) … posted a three round score of 223 (72, 76, 76) at the Colin Montgomerie Invitational to finish tied for 32^nd place … finished tied for 10^th after shooting a 72 in a the rain shortened Atchafalaya Intercollegiate.

Prep Golf: Has represented his country in multiple international events ... won the Queretaro Championship after shooting a 10-under par with rounds of 67, 71, and 68 for a three-round score of 206 ... He also went on to win the Acapulco Championship with rounds of 76, 74 and 70 ... competed in the 2014 National Olympiad in Veracruz where he finished in second place. 

Chip Shot: Son of Eduardo Gonzalez and Paulina Zapata ... has two brothers, Javier and Pablo ... started playing golf when he was 10 years old.
