2014-15 (Sophomore): Fall Season: Competed in one tournament … finished in 41^st at the Harold Funston Invitational with a three-round score of 236 (74,81,81).

2013-14 (Freshman): Fall Season: Competed in two tournaments … finished in 67^th at the Pinetree Intercollegiate with a three-round score of 255 (80,85,90) … made his collegiate debut at the Husky Invitational finishing in a tie for 68^th with a three-round score of 240 (75,80,85).

Spring Season: Competed in four tournaments … posted a season-best three-round score of 230 (77,78,75) at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic to finish in a tie for 97^th place … finished in a tie for 53^rd place at the Wallace Jones Invitational with a three-round score of 240 (81,82,77) … posted a three-round score of 242 (81,80,81) at the Moe O’Brien Intercollegiate to finish in a tie for 62st place … finished in a tie for 81^st at the Rice Intercollegiate with a three-round score of 247 (84,85,78).
 
2009-13 (Kelly Walsh High School): Two-time All-State selection, tying for first as a junior and placing third as a sophomore … All-Conference as a senior … Three-year team captain …  Team MVP as a junior … Member of the 2013 Wyoming Junior America’s Cup Team … Led the Trojans to the 4A conference and state championships in 2012 after finishing runners up for the state championship in 2011 … Career-best round is 68 … Plays on the Wyoming Jr. Golf Tour during the summer … Four-time recipient of the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award and a three-year member of Honor Society.
 
Chip Shot: Son of Bruce and Karen Hinchey … Has one brother, Scott Hinchey, and two sisters, Amanda Hinchey and Traci Ware … Majoring in business … Has been playing golf since he was three years old and competing is his country club’s Jr. Club Championship since he was seven, finishing first three times and second five times.
