Coach Hallum

Mitch Hallum

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) men’s tennis team announced Mitch Hallum, who has been the assistant director at Mac 360 Tennis Academy for the last three years, as an assistant coach, on September 19.
 
Hallum was responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of Mac 360 Tennis as he oversaw the planning of practices, tournament travel, and customer service. 
 
Hallum has also spent the last 11 years as camp counselor at the Texas A&M Tennis Camp. He taught basic and advanced tennis techniques while interacting with campers and their parents to help build the relationships that has grown the camp over the years.
 
Hallum earned a bachelor degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, where he played three years on the men’s tennis team, earning All-Conference honors in doubles.
 
Hallum also spent two seasons as the volunteer assistant coach with the men’s program after graduating.
