2024-25 (Redshirt Junior): Named SLC Men’s Tennis Player of the Year and All-Conference First Team at No. 1 singles… Named UTRGV Male Student-Athlete of the Year and Comeback Athlete of the Year… Went 7-12 in singles with a 7-10 record at No. 1 and a 4-1 conference mark at No. 1… Was 7-11 in doubles with a 2-1 mark in SLC action… In singles, pushed #1 Texas’ Pierre-Yves Bailly and Rice’s de la Bassetiere to third-set tiebreakers… Beat Texas A&M-Corpus Christi’s Nathan Favier 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (8:6)… Won three consecutive matches to aid UTRGV’s eight-match winning streak… Defeated Jonathan Vega of UTPB 4-6, 6-3, 7-5… Opened SLC action with road wins over Marc Mail of New Orleans 6-4, 6-7 (3:7), 7-5 and Maxwell Lindstedt of Nicholls 6-4, 6-2… Beat UIW’s Emilio Vila 6-2, 6-0… Defeated Favier of Corpus Christi again, 6-3, 6-2, in the regular season SLC title match… In doubles with Isaac Smyth, beat Rice’s Morais/Sarouk 6-3… In doubles with Paolo Bonaguro, beat Abilene Christian’s Scribner/Verdasco 6-0, Etchecoin/Greco of Saint Mary’s College 6-4, and UC Riverside’s Suarez/Sane 6-1… In conference doubles action with Bonaguro, defeated Townes/Temming of New Orleans, 6-3, and Marki/Lindstedt of Nicholls, 6-4…
2023-24 (Junior): Spring: Went 4-4 in singles and 4-7 in doubles overall, playing in six matches before being sidelined with an injury… Was 2-0 in singles in the No. 3 flight… Defeated Oklahoma State’s Francisco Pini, 6-3, 5-7, 6-0, on the road at No. 5… Beat Lamar’s Martin Garcia-Ripoll 7-6 (11:9), 6-1… Defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi’s Lucas Schurdevin 6-2, 6-4 to help UTRGV earn first win over the rival since 2010. Doubles: Went 2-4 in the top spot with Emilien Burnel… Earned back-to-back wins over UIW’s Tomas Reche/Antoine Martin-Thiriot (6-1) and UTSA’s Alan Magadan/Tomas Pinho (6-3)… Was named WAC Doubles Player of the Week with Emilien Burnel on Jan. 30.
2022-23 (Sophomore): Spring Season: Went 7-18 in singles, playing 15 matches at No. 4, and 7-17 in doubles ... Named WAC Doubles Player of the Week with Emilien Burnel on Jan. 24 ... CSC Academic All-District ... Beat Southern Miss' Alexander Gima 6-2, 6-1 ... Defeated Hawaii's Vojtch Vlkovsky 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 ... Defeated Seattle U's Michael Frank 6-1, 6-4 at the conference tournament to help the team reach the semifinals ... Opened the season with a 6-4 win over Oklahoma State's Alessio Basile/Francisco Pini with Karlo Krolo ... Beat UC Irvine's Matthew Sah/Lawee Sherif 6-4 with Krolo ... Won consecutive conference doubles matches with Chris Lawrance over NM State's Luca Fe D'Ostiani/Itay Feigin 6-2 and Abilene Christian's Savan Chhabra/Ethan Scribner 6-3 ... Fall Season: Went 1-1 in singles at the ITA Texas Regional with a 6-2, 6-3 win over ACU's Noah Wheen ...
