2023 Outdoor Track & Field (Freshman): Won the 1,500-meter run in a PR time of 3:58.42 at the Bobcat Invitational, also 9th in the 800-meter run ... Was 8th in the 1,500 at the UTSA Invitational ... Ran a PR 16:15.39 to finish 10th in the 5,000-meter run at the Charles Austin Classic ... Finished 6th with the 4x400-meter relay team at the Cactus Cup. 

2023 Indoor Track & Field (Freshman): Earned three top-10 finishes in the mile, including taking 8th in 4:18.10 (PR) at the Robert Platt Invitational ... Ran PRs in the 800-meter run (1:55.15) and 3,000-meter run (9:01.37) at WAC Indoor Championships. 

2022 Cross Country (Freshman): Was 77th at the Western Athletic Conference Championships in a new 8K PR of 25:44.9 ... Finished 181st at the Arturo Barrios Invitational (8K) on 10/15 ... Placed 15th at the UIW Invitational (8K) on 10/1 ... Finished 29th in his collegiate debut at the UIW Twilight (6K) on 9/2. 

2018-2022 (McAllen Memorial High School): Salinas joins the program with PRs of 1:55 in the 800, 4:23 in the 1,600 and 9:32 in the 3,200. He was the 2022 district silver medalist in the 800 and 1,600 races and claimed bronze in the 3,200. He was a two-time track & field regional qualifier in the 800 and won the area championship in 2022. Salinas qualified for the UIL Cross Country State Championships in 2018 with the Mustangs’ team. He claimed top-10 finishes at the cross country district meet three years in a row, including a second-place finish as a senior and qualified for the regional meet all four years.
