Aimee Silva joined UTRGV Athletics as an Assistant Athletic Trainer working primarily with women’s soccer and men’s and women’s cross country and track & field in July 2021.
Silva came to UTRGV after earning her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Whitworth University earlier in the year.
Silva is a former student-athlete, having competed as a defender in soccer at Minnesota Crookston in 2017 and 2018 and Wenatchee Valley College in 2015 and 2016.
As a senior, Silva played in 18 games (13 starts). As a junior, Silva played in nine games (one start). Silva scored a goal in each of her first two seasons, adding an assist as a sophomore.
Originally from Yakima, Wash., Silva earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Wellness from Minnesota Crookston in 2019.
