2014: Led the Broncs to first WAC Tournament appearance as No. 6 seed, marking the Broncs’ first appearance in a conference tournament with an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament since 1996 … Guided team to 14.62 digs per set, the third best mark in the WAC and 173rd best in the NCAA … Coached freshman setter Mary Kate Clark to one of the best seasons by a setter in program history, averaging 8.08 assists per set, the ninth best single-season total in program history, and a total of 792 assists … Developed the Broncs’ midde blockers into two of the best in program history, as Haley Durham is averaging a program-record 0.81 blocks per set with a .236 hitting percentage, the fifth-best mark in program history, while Maria Kliefoth finished ninth at 0.66 blocks per set and second with a .252 hitting percentage … Durham also averaged 3.31 points per set, the eighth best mark in the WAC and 334th best in the NCAA.
2013: Led the Broncs to second-straight three win improvement with 13 wins, marking the Broncs’ winningest season in six years … Guided the Broncs to a 10-5 start, tying them for the second best start in program history and the best as an NCAA Division I program … Led the Broncs to 3-1 records at the Sugar Bear Classic and the Big Daddy’s Invitational, the latter of which included the Broncs’ first ever win over McNeese State (3-2, 9/14) … Continued to develop strong servers, as the Broncs led the WAC and ranked 49th in the NCAA in aces per set (1.45) … Coached senior setter Nycole Masaki into the UTPA record books, as she finished the season with 1,073 assist, tied for the fourth-highest single-season total in program history, while averaging 9.17 assists per set, the fifth-highest single-season total in program history. Masaki finished her career third in program history in total assists (2,028) and assists per set (8.97) … Helped sophomore middle blocker Haley Durham to finish strong, as she reached double-figures in kills in each of her final seven matches, averaging 3.27 kills per set over that span … Coached freshman outside hitter Alisha Watson to a strong first season, as she appeared in 116 sets, the fifth most ever by a UTPA freshman, while averaging 1.83 kills per set, the fourth-highest mark on the team, to earn All-WAC Freshman Team honors … Continued strong community outreach skills to break program attendance record for second year in a row, ranking 82nd in the NCAA and second in the WAC in attendance with a program record average of 652 per match … Overall, the Broncs were 100th in the NCAA and second in the WAC, drawing a program record 7,176 fans. The Broncs were also 76th in the NCAA and third in WAC in percent of capacity at 26.08 percent.

Developed student-athletes into award winners, as senior libero Juri Franzen earned All-Great West Conference (GWC) Second Team honors and two GWC Defensive Player of the Week awards, junior setter Nycole Masaki earned All-GWC Second Team honors, freshman middle blocker Haley Durham earned All-GWC Newcomer Team and UTPA Female Rookie of the Year honors, and senior middle blocker Sarah Davis and redshirt sophomore middle blocker Maria Kliefoth each earned one GWC Offensive Player of the Week award ... Under Yale's guidance, the Broncs ranked 51st in the NCAA in aces per set at 1.40 ... Franzen ranked 81st in the NCAA in digs per set at 4.82 ... Masaki ranked 185th in the NCAA in assists per set at 8.76 ... Enjoyed an unprecedented home court advantage, as the Broncs ranked 78th in the NCAA in attendance with an average of 639 fans per match ... The Broncs drew a single-season program record 5,109 fans in eight matches ... The previous record was 3,266 fans, accomplished in 11 matches in 1995.

2011: Led Broncs to 3-0 win over Louisiana Tech in second match of first day of season (8/26) … Won first Great West Conference match, 3-2 at Chicago State (9/29) … Coached team to season sweep of Texas Southern (10/18 and 11/11), the first of which helped the Broncs achieve back-to-back wins after they followed with a win over Huston-Tillotson (10/22) … Also found victory against Towson, 3-0 (9/10) and Prairie View A&M, 3-2 (10/3) … Successfully scheduled tough competition at home, welcoming both Texas Tech (9/6) and New Mexico (10/23) to the UTPA Fieldhouse.

Assistant Coach, Stephen F. Austin (2005-10): Primary responsibilities included training setters and middle blockers while also assisting with liberos and defensive specialists … Stephen F. Austin produced 10 All-Southland Conference selections at those positions during that time, including one All-American Honorable Mention, one Southland Conference Player of the Year, two Southland Conference Setter of the Year selections, three Southland Conference Libero of the Year selections, and one Southland Conference Student-Athlete of the Year … Helped team to 47-straight conference wins from 2005-07, part of a 62-match conference winning streak that started in 2004 … Part of staff for first NCAA Tournament victory in program history, 3-1 over Alabama in 2006 … Team went 142-59 (.706) during Yale’s tenure.

Head Coach, Genoa High School (1995-2005): Served as girls volleyball head coach while teaching biology and anatomy/physiology … In nine seasons, led teams to a 121-51 (.703) record, including four league championships and a trip to the 2003 state semifinals … Worked with two under-17 teams in coaching and administrative roles over the course of eight years, including the Premier and Toledo Volleyball Clubs … Led the Toledo Volleyball Club to the national tournament in 2004 … Served as owner, manager and volleyball director of Synergy Sports and Fitness in Toledo.
