Erica Adachi

Erica Adachi

Erica Adachi joined the volleyball team on October 13, 2016.

Adachi spent the last three years with Play Intercambio Esportivo where she helped Brazilian athletes find colleges in the United States to play volleyball. She was also responsible in assisting athletes and parents with NCAA and NAIA enrollment processes, eligibility rules and regulations.
 
Adachi also spent two seasons with the Petron Blaze Spikers in the Philippine Superliga. In 2015, she guided the Spikers to a runner up finish in the Philippine Superliga Tournament and was named the second best setter of the tournament. In 2014, she guided the Spikers to a Philippine Superliga Championship while being named best setter of the tournament.
  
Adachi spent four years playing at Fresno Pacific University where she helped the Sunbirds to back-to-back NAIA National Championship in 2009 and 2010 while being named the best setter of the tournament.
 
In 2012, she helped Fresno Pacific to a third place finish in the NCCAA National Championship and was named Player of the Year and Tournament MVP.
 
Adachi also saw time on the Brazilian National team where she helped her U18 team to a World Championship and a runner up finish at the VI Panamerican Cup. She also helped her U17 team to a South American Tournament Championship in 2006 and her U16 World Championship in 2005.
 
She earned her bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Fresno Pacific in 2013.
