Adam Alvarado joined UTRGV Athletics as a Graduate Assistant on Aug. 1, 2025. He primarily works with the ticket sales team but also assists with the development and corporate sponsorships teams as well.
While attending the University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA), Alvarado started working with UTSA Athletics Development and Roadrunner Athletic Fund from in the fall of 2022. He then transitioned to an undergraduate recruiting assistant with UTSA Football for 2023. He also worked with the UTSA Campus Recreation as a sports program supervisor for three years.
Alvarado, a McAllen native, has also volunteered at the 2025 NCAA Final Four, worked with the San Antonio Brahmas, and worked with the McAllen Parks and Recreation as a summer track coach.
Alvarado earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from UTSA in the summer of 2025, and is currently working towards his Master of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Management.
