Klarissa Rodriguez rejoined UTRGV Athletics as the business operations manager on Nov. 1, 2022 and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Business Operations in the spring of 2024. She had previously been the travel and insurance coordinator since the fall of 2017.
Rodriguez originally began working with UTRGV Athletics as a business office assistant in January 2015. In that role, Rodriguez primarily provided accounting and purchasing support to the business staff while also assisting in coordinating team travel.
Rodriguez began working at legacy institution UTPA in September 2013, working as an admissions office aide for a year and a half.
Rodriguez graduated from UTRGV in December of 2016 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She is expected to complete her Master of Accountancy in December of 2018.
Rodriguez currently resides in Edinburg.
