Lady Broncs Fall to Missouri, 83-34

COLUMBIA, MO-- The University of Texas-Pan American women's basketball program dropped an 83-34 decision to Missouri, Thursday evening (Dec. 10), in Columbia, Mo. at Mizzou Arena.

The Lady Broncs were able to keep the game close for the first seven minutes of the game, leading at one point, but were unable to stop Missouri.

Rose Esther Jean led the Broncs with eight points, five rebounds and two blocked shots while Shavon Walker added seven points to round out the Lady Broncs leading scorers.

For Missouri, Bailey Gee and Christine Flores each scored 14 points and Amanda Hanneman added 13 points.

From the field, the Lady Broncs shot 28.8%, while Missouri was 46.0% from the field. From beyond the arc, the Lady Broncs were unsuccessful (0-8), while Missouri hit on 37.5% of their attempts.

The Lady Broncs return to action this Saturday, Dec. 12, as they take on St. Edward's University at the UTPA Fieldhouse with game time slated for 2:00 p.m.
