Senior guard Perry Petty accounted for 46% of the UTPA offense as he scored both his career high and the Broncs season high with his 32 points in the loss to the Beavers. It was the highest point totally for a Bronc player since Brian Burrell scored 31 in a home win over Texas State on November 18, 2006. It was the fifth time this season a Petty scored 20+ points in a game. Petty was 10-17 from the field and made five of his 10 three point attempts while adding a team high six rebounds.

UTPA is still looking for their first true road victory this season. The Broncs are 0-5 playing on their opponents' home floor in 2010-11. The last regular season road victory for UTPA came last season when they beat North Dakota 71-68 on March 6th 2010.
The Broncs have one victory away from the UTPA Fieldhouse in their neutral site 67-53 win over Eastern Kentucky on November 13th in Chicago.
