UT-Pan American - 2009-10 Season
Perry sat out as a redshirt in 2009-10 per NCAA transfer rules.
Santa Clara University - 2008-09 Season
Perry began his NCAA Division 1 playing career at Santa Clara University. Perry played in 30 games for the Broncos in his junior season averaging 5.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists per contest. Perry scored a career high 17 points in just his second NCAA Division 1 contest, a 64-61 loss on the road at Alabama-Birmingham.
Allen County CC - 2006-07 & 2007-08 Seasons
Petty began his college basketball career as a member of the Allen County Community College in Burlingame, Kan., where he played two seasons for the Red Devils. During that time, the 6-1 point guard compiled an impressive 1,091 points in 61 games with 311 assists. A 2007-08 All-Jayhawk Conference First Team selection and Region VI honorable mention, Petty averaged 21.0 points, going 47 percent from the field, and 6.0 assists over the course of 31 games. He led the Red Dragons in steals and assists, and was second in three-point field goal percentage.
Prep Career
Petty earned First Team All-Conference honors at Juneau High School (WI).

Petty is the son of Tyree and Demetrice Petty...born on Aug. 5, 1988...has four brothers - Tyree, Tyray, Vashaun and Deon...one sister - Samantha...Tyree played Division I football, Tyray played basketball at Great West Conference rival Utah Valley University...majoring in sociology.
