NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana – The University of Texas-Pan American men's tennis team blanked the Jackson State University Tigers 6-0 Saturday afternoon to pick up their fifth win this season.
 
Senior Beau Bernstein defeated Navneet Baskaran (6-0 6-1) in the #1 spot, while sophomore Ricardo Hopker beat Carlos Martinez 6-4, 7-6 (2) in the #2 position.Third player for the Broncs, sophomore Chetan Panditi, won his match against Jose Lugue 6-1, 6-1.

In the fourth and fifth positions, the Broncs dominated their respective competitors 6-0, 6-0. Rolf Niederstrasser defeated Marki Milosavkevic and Sebastian Job defeated Philip Barnes.
 
The Broncs earned the doubles point as the Bernstein/Panditi doublet won 8-2 against the Baskaran/Lugue team and the Victor Alves/Niederstrasser duo won their match against Martinez and Milosavjevic.
 
The Broncs will continue their Louisiana trip Sunday against #69 Florida A&M University at 9 a.m. UTPA will play back-to-back matches until Wednesday.
