PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs women's tennis team (2-9) plays their first of three road matches in three days when they visit the Prairie View A&M University Panthers (5-10) on Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the Prairie View Tennis Courts.

The Broncs are 9-0 all-time against the Panthers in a series dating back to 1986. These two teams last met in 2010, a 7-0 win for the Broncs.

The Broncs had their most competitive match in the No. 3 position of singles, where Wanda Beguelin took the first set 6-1. Natalia Mayagoitia came back to take the second set 6-4 and the third set 10-4. The Cardinals took four of the other five singles matches in straight sets.
 
The Broncs' closest doubles match came in the No. 2 spot, where Malin Andersen and Suncica Strkic fell to Mayagoitia and Anais Robert 8-3.
