EDINBURG, Texas -- The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs baseball team (27-16, 14-8 Great West Conference) and the University of Northern Colorado Bears (23-26, 13-9 GWC) finish up this four-game series with a doubleheader on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. at Edinburg Baseball Stadium.

Both games are scheduled to last nine innings.

Tickets are still available and can be purchase at the Edinburg Baseball Stadium box ofice starting at 11:00 a.m.

What You Need to Know
  • These are the 28th and 29th meetings all-time between the Broncs and the Bears in a series dating back to 2006. The Broncs have six wins in that time, five of which have come at home.
  • With 27 wins, the Broncs have their highest win total since 2000, when the Broncs won 31 games under Reggie Tredaway.
  • The Broncs are 19-2 at home this season.
  • The Broncs are 8-3 in game one of doubleheaders and 6-5 in game two. They have swept five of their six home doubleheaders.
  • This series was supposed to get underway on Friday, but due to severe thunderstorms late Thursday night/early Friday morning, the field was unplayable.   • Jonathan Sa pitched his third complete game in his last four starts, and second in a row, going seven innings and striking out five.
