HOUSTON – The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs women's tennis team fell to the No. 29 Rice University Owls 0-7 on Sunday at Jake Hess Tennis Stadium.
 
The Broncs (0-2) dropped all three doubles matches, but played one tight one. At the No. 3 position, Didi Fatchikova and Manon Lavrijssen fell to Kimberly Anicete and Stephanie Nguyen 7-8.
 
The Owls (2-0) won all six singles matches in straight sets, with the closest set coming at No. 4, when Wanda Beguelin fell to Nguyen 4-6.
 
The Broncs are back in action on Saturday, February 2 at 11:00 a.m. when they visit Texas State.
