COLLEGE STATION – The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs men's tennis team opened their dual match season with a 0-7 loss to the No. 12 Texas A&M Aggies on Sunday at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center. 
 
The Aggies (2-0) got things started in doubles as the team of Harrison Adams and Shane Vinsant defeated the Broncs (0-1) duo of Sebastien Job and Juan Cruz Soria 6-2. Texas A&M then clinched the doubles point after Jeremy Efferding and Jordan Szabo beat Ivar Aramburu and Alejandro Sanoja 6-2 in the No. 2 doubles spot.
 
In singles, the Aggies won all six matches in straight sets. Chetan Panditi had the closest set at the No. 5 singles spot. After dropped his first set 6-3, he had a 4-3 lead against Texas A&M's Frankie Colunga before falling 4-6 to give the Aggies the point.
 
The Broncs are back in action on Friday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. when they host the University of Maryland Baltimore County at the Orville Cox Tennis Center.
