CORPUS CHRISTI – The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs baseball team fell to the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Islanders 12-5 in game two of a doubleheader on Tuesday at Chapman Field.

Jacob Dorris (1-1) pitched a perfect fifth for the win.
The Broncs got back on the board in the seventh, when, with the bases loaded and one out, redshirt junior Edinburg alum
Lee Rios hit a sacrifice fly that scored Roush to make it 12-3.

The Broncs open Western Athletic Conference play with the first of three games against New Mexico State on Friday at 7 p.m. at Edinburg Baseball Stadium. Gates open at 6.
