2013 (Freshman): Shared Great West Conference Pitcher of the Week honors with entire staff (4/17) … Hectupled strikeout total by striking out career-high five batters in career-high two hitless innings of work vs. Chicago State (4/13) … Notched first-career strikeout in perfect frame vs. Arlington Baptist (3/23) … Pitched an inning and two-thirds of scoreless relief at Northwestern State (2/24) … Pitched one scoreless inning of relief in collegiate debut at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (2/17).

2009-12 (Roma High School): Dominant during his senior season, going 7-2 with an ERA of 1.31 … In 48 innings, he struck out 74 while allowing just 22 hits and 25 walks … Accolades include Defensive MVP as a senior, Pitcher of the Year as a junior and Honorable Mention at third base as a sophomore … Helped the Gladiators to District Championships in 2009 and 2011 … Also played football for three years, earning Honorable Mention as a senior quarterback, Second Team All-District as a junior wide receiver, and Honorable Mention as a sophomore tight end.
