EDINBURG – The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs men's tennis team fell 4-3 to the University of the Incarnate Word Cardinals on Friday at the Orville Cox Tennis Center on Senior Day.
 
Sebestien Job and Joseph Bishop got things going for the Broncs (3-12) in doubles as they defeated Brandon Davis and Chris Haerens 8-3 at the No. 3 position. Alejandro Sanoja and Juan Cruz Soria clinched the point with an 8-4 win over Tucker Brown and Jair Assuncao.
 
In singles, the Cardinals (10-3) took control as they won at No. 4, 3 and 1 singles positions but Joseph Bishop answered back with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 win over Brody Rodriguez in the No. 6 position. After the Cardinals clinched the match with a win at No. 5 singles, Chetan Panditi picked up a 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 victory over Leonard Ivic to close out the match.
 
The Broncs hit the road to face the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners on Saturday at 12 p.m.
