WACO – The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs women's tennis team fell 0-7 to the No. 6 Baylor University Bears at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center on Friday.
 
The Broncs (2-2) fell behind early after dropping the doubles point as the Bears (4-0) swept all three matches.
 
In singles, the Bears continued to control things as they won all six singles matches in straight sets. Freshman Dominique Esparza faced 101^st ranked Rachael James-Baker on court two and fell 0-6, 2-6 while sophomore Mariana Ranzahuer faced 73^rd ranked Kelley Anderson falling 2-6, 2-6 on court three.
 
The Broncs return to action on Sunday as they host the Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas at the Orville Cox Tennis Center at 10 a.m.
