SAN ANTONIO – Junior Reegan Greenwood recorded her fifth straight singles victory but it wasn't enough as the University of Texas-Pan American Broncs women's tennis team fell 1-6 to the University of Texas San Antonio Roadrunners on Saturday at the UTSA Tennis Center.
 
Greenwood recorded the lone point for the Broncs (5-7) after she defeated Nicole Karaklis at No. 4 singles. After dropping her first set 1-6, Greenwood bounced back with a 6-4 win in the second set and then followed that with another 6-4 win in the third set.
 
The Broncs fell behind early as the Roadrunners (8-6) took the doubles point with wins on court two and three and then followed with singles victories on courts one, two, six, five and three to clinch the match.
 
The Broncs continue their road stretch as they head to El Paso to face off against Western New Mexico University on Friday, March 19, in a neutral site match.
