EL PASO – The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs women's tennis team fell 2-5 to the University of Texas-El Paso on Sunday at the El Paso Tennis Club in their final match of the weekend.
 
The Broncs (7-9) recorded a win in doubles as the team of Katia Stavroulaki and Reegan Greenwood defeated Davina Meza and Jeannez Daniel 8-6 on court one but the Miners (9-3) went on to clinch the doubles point with wins on courts two and three.
 
The Broncs got a pair of victories as Mariana Ranzahuer recorded a 7-5, 7-5 victory over Daphne Visscher at No. 5 singles. Natacha Minc then posted a 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 victory over Matilda Tench at No. 6 singles.
 
The Miners went on to win the rest of the matches to clinch the match.
 
The Broncs are back in action on March 27 when they face Nicholls State University in a neutral site match in San Antonio.
