EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros women's soccer team opens the regular season against the University of the Incarnate Word Cardinals on Friday at 7:40 p.m. at the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex.

It's the second match of the inaugural UTRGV Tournament. South Carolina State faces Southern at 5 p.m. The UTRGV-UIW match will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first match.

Gates open at 4.
