EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) women's soccer team fell to Seattle U 2-0 in the home finale on Sunday at the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex.
 
Karli White scored both goals for Seattle U (9-5-1, 4-0-0 WAC). The first goal came at the eight-minute mark off a pass from 
Stephanie Spiekerman at the top of the box.
 
Then, in the 30
th minute, 
Hannah Carrothers sent a cross to 
Hope Fleckner who found White for a goal that went into the right side of the net.
 
Senior 
Maria Eriksen and freshman 
Kinga Szemik (5-4-0) each made one save for UTRGV (9-5-1, 1-3-0 WAC).
 
Mackenzie Curry (5-0-0) made three saves for the shutout.
UTRGV and Seattle U each finished with 10 shots. Seattle U had four shots on goal to UTRGV's three.
 
UTRGV is back in action on Friday at 7 p.m. at CSU Bakersfield.
