CHICAGO, Ill. – University of Texas Rio Grande Valley women's tennis senior Reegan Greenwood moved into a tie for fifth place on the program's all-time singles career win list on Friday as the Vaqueros fell 1-6 to the Grand Canyon University Antelopes on Friday at H-F Racquet and Fitness Club.
 
Greenwood recorded the lone point for the Vaqueros (6-7, 2-2 WAC) with a win over Tatum Prudhomme on court one. She dropped her first set 2-6 but answered with a 6-2 win in the second and a 6-3 win in the third.
 
It is the 50^th win of Greenwood's career and is now tied with Tania Webster (1988-91) for fifth all-time. She moves one win behind Mary Jane Meyer (1987-90) for fourth place and five behind Barbara Barrera (1988-90) for third place all-time.
 
The Antelopes (8-8, 3-1 WAC) swept through doubles and won on the other five singles courts to put the match away.
 
The Vaqueros will close out their conference schedule on Saturday when they face off against Seattle U at 5:45 p.m.
