EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley women's soccer team (5-5-2) plays its Western Athletic Conference opener against Grand Canyon (3-8-1) on Friday at 7 p.m. at the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex.

The first 200 fans in attendance will receive WAC rally towels.

Additionally, fans have the chance to get "Friday Night Fútbol" soccer stress balls while supplies last.

Gates open at 3 for the men's soccer match vs. No. 18 Seattle U.
