SAN ANTONIO – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) men's soccer team fell to San Antonio FC, the United Soccer League (USL) affiliate of the New York City FC, 2-0 in a friendly on Saturday at Toyota Field.
 
UTRGV held San Antonio FC scoreless through the first half but San Antonio FC broke through late in the second half with a goal by Cesar Elizondo that made it 1-0.
 
Alex Bruce took a pass from Owayne Gordon and added another goal for San Antonio FC as time expired. 
 
UTRGV plays its Alumni Match on April 8 at 3 p.m. at the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex.
