LAREDO – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) men's soccer team played Texas A&M International to a 1-1 draw in a friendly on Saturday at Dustdevil Soccer Field.
 
UTRGV scored in the fifth minute when sophomore Angel Lopez struck from outside the box, burying the ball in the bottom right corner of the net.
 
UTRGV closes out the spring exhibition schedule on April 8 at 3 p.m. with an alumni match at the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex.
