EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley men's soccer team (1-1-0, 0-0-0 WAC) is set to open up its home portion of the schedule when it hosts Purdue Fort Wayne (1-1-0, 0-0-0 SUMMIT) as part of the Rio Grande Valley Invitational on Friday at 7 p.m. at the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex.

Houston Baptist will face Northern Illinois in the first match of the day at 4:30 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to come out and celebrate Back to School Night. Gates open at 3:30 p.m.
