In the second half, UTRGV (9-6-2, 3-3-1 WAC) came out of halftime and quickly put some pressure on Seattle U.

Senior Sarah Bonney found an open lane with her shot bouncing off the post and then it was sophomore Emily Zapata, who got the rebound and found the back of the net to get UTRGV on the board at 52:21.It's Zapata's team-leading sixth goal of the season.

Seattle U's Madison Waguespack, who made three saves throughout the match, kept UTRGV at bay the rest of the way.
