BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men's soccer team fell 1-0 to CSU Bakersfield on Sunday at Main Soccer Field.
CSU Bakersfield (4-9, 3-4 WAC) got the lone goal in the match at 23:39 as
Mikey Vogel took the rebound after a save of
Ryan Goldsmith's shot and found the back of the net.

Detre Bell saved all three shots faced while UTRGV goalkeeper
Andy Rios also made three saves.
UTRGV (8-4-1, 4-3-1 WAC) outshot CSU Bakersfield 12-6 but was outshot on goal 3-4.
UTRGV will be back in action on Friday, November 1, as it kicks off its final homestand of the season against San Jose State at the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex at 7 p.m. Admission is free, courtesy of Entravision, with gates opening at 6.
