LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley men's soccer team (4-1-0, 0-0-0 WAC) is set to open Western Athletic Conference play against UNLV (2-6-0, 0-0-0 WAC) on Saturday at 9 p.m. at Johann Memorial Field.

UTRGV came in this week ranked sixth in the United Soccer Coaches Far West Region rankings. UTRGV is just one of two WAC schools to be ranked in the top-10 in the region with Grand Canyon coming in at No. 10.
